Background: Knowing she had to learn the art of mixing records, Valoria was fortunate enough to make friends with DJs AZ-1, Astrocat and Kairo while living in Albuquerque in 2001. They showed her the ropes, encouraged her to keep up with practice and sent her on her way. She started her vinyl collection and like everyone else in the scene at the time, was mesmerized by AK1200's “Drowning” remix, and knew drum and bass was her calling. These days, she loves playing sets of everything from tech step to hip hop remixes, and is working on mastering Serato as her tool for musical interpretation. Since her beginnings, she has had the honor of sharing the stage with the likes of Dave Lopez, Niko, Joey Santos, Miskate, S-Doobie, Nightstalker and the GorillaSound crew...
