Bio: DJ Ty:Po, born Jared Baca a.k.a. Jay, got his start by listening to Trance, House, Breaks and Hip Hop. Looking through the used bins at local record stores led him to the experimental sound of Drum 'N' Bass. Best known for playing the darker, techy, and heavier side of D 'N' B, his mixes are a fine example of what this ABQ native is capable of behind the decks.
On the production side of things, Ty:Po is slowly honing his skills as a computer musician, experimenting with different tempo variations closely associated with hip-hop and breakbeat patterns.
