Inside the mind: Born in Albuquerque, Maintain began Djing in 1998. The expanding UK Drum and Bass scene immediately fascinated him. Goldie, Dillinja, Photek, Adam F, Ant Miles, Ed Rush & Optical, Doc Scott, were just a few of his early influences.
He is part of Albuquerque’s first jungle crew; the THC Mafia, then later a founding member of I.C.F.S. From liquid atmospheric D&B, to dance-floor rollers, to ear shattering break- core madness, Maintain plays it all. He’s spun too many raves and clubs to count, promoted his own events for I.C.F.S., runs his own label called 5th Column for releasing original production, and just ended a residency with Kairo at Phuture Sounds for desertfmradio.com.
